The Opportunity
If you’re a Principal Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in the UK water industry, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing consultancy with a secure pipeline of work and real influence on projects.
You’ll play a key role in delivering high-value infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects, while working within a supportive, technically strong team that genuinely values your expertise.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading mechanical design delivery across a range of water projects
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to engineers within the team
- Working on both infra & non-infra schemes
- Collaborating closely with clients and stakeholders
- Supporting project delivery from concept through to detailed design
Projects You’ll Be Involved In
- Sewage treatment works upgrades
- UMON 3 & 4 monitoring projects
- CSO upgrades and storm storage schemes
- Clean and waste water infrastructure improvements
What We’re Looking For
✔ Significant experience within the UK regulated water industry
✔ Strong background in mechanical design within utilities/infrastructure
✔ Ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers
✔ Comfortable working across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
The Package
Permanent:
- Up to £80,000 salary (DOE)
- Pension & benefits package

Working Arrangements
- Ideally based from Manchester
- Flexible hybrid or remote working available for the right candidate
- Occasional site visits as required
