We’re looking for a practical, reliable and proactive Site Maintenance Operative to join our Facilities team at our Tamworth site.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll play a key part in maintaining our buildings, grounds and facilities to the highest standard, helping to create a safe, professional and welcoming environment for colleagues and visitors.

Reporting to: Facilities Manager
What You’ll Be Doing
As our Site Maintenance Operative, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of maintenance and facilities duties, including:
Carrying out general repairs to buildings, fixtures and fittings
Painting, decorating and making good to maintain high standards throughout the site
Installing and assembling equipment, furniture and appliances
Assisting with basic plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance tasks
Supporting the upkeep of external yards, landscaped areas and car parks
Managing waste disposal and recycling in designated areas
Preparing meeting rooms and replenishing refreshments when required
Assisting with statutory inspections and planned maintenance activities
Promoting a safe working environment and supporting Health & Safety initiatives
Producing and installing display materials for showrooms and trade exhibitions
Driving company vehicles when required
Providing maintenance support across other Group sites when necessary
Supporting the wider Facilities team with additional duties as required
What We’re Looking For
Essential
Full UK Driving Licence
Basic electrical wiring knowledge
Basic plumbing and carpentry skills
Painting and decorating experience, including filling and finishing work
Good practical problem-solving skills
A positive, flexible and proactive approach
Friendly, approachable and professional attitude
Ability to work independently and manage your workload
Commitment to maintaining high standards of Health & Safety
